Crisol @ Lookout Series

LookOut Series @ Steppenwolf Theater

One of our more important commitments this summer is our performance at the amazing LookOut Series at Stteppenwolf Theater, a program that strives to shine the light on up-and-coming artists from Chicago. We are honored to present our program CRISOL (melting pot). CRISOL  is an ongoing project fueled by the idea of cultures fusing together to propel the creation of new ways of defining and making music. From the use of ancient forms poetry to the fusion between technology and sound, CRISOL  presents a melting pot of new works from Chicago composers and sound artists.

Kelly Quesada and Dan Galat @MULIVE

Friday June 10th Kelly Quesada and Dan Galat will premier my brand new piece "Infrared miniatures" for violin and cello.

"Infrared Miniatures" was inspired after learning the intricacies of the mind blowing technology that created the James Webb telescope. The Webb telescope differs from others by capturing the infrared spectrum of light emitted by galaxies and stars that are at record distance form our own planet.
